Riders
I am not a fellow rider, except of for the true western mode of transportation (the horse). I had an experience with a lane splitting rider for the first time today, and I was caught completely of guard by it. I was suprised by the fact that at a light he rode up between four cars in each lane at a light. He as a rider doing this, had no head light on and I as a driver to had no way to see him except to catch him out of the corner of my eye as the light was changing.
Kentucky bikers take risks everyday just riding safely without distracted drivers (texting, on the phone, and just plain lazy not paying attention). I can't for the life of me see a rider wanting to put themselves out there this way.
I'm not trying to preach but i think it should not be called lane splitting it should be refered to a potential motorcycle death statistic.
Sorry if I offend anyone this was not my intention........
