Yesterday I wore a mesh jacket (with armor) alpinestars full gantlet leather gloves, full face, boots and jeans. It was a bit warm but well worth it.
I rode up 25 to 330 then 227 back around to 25 into lex then took tates creek across the ferry. Then to my girlfriends house in Richmond. Every time I stopped people were asking me how I was wearing all that. But I couldn't imagine riding (especially near my limit) without it.

Thanks for the link dumas but that is a bit more than I was wanting to spend. However I have already bought a bike. 93 FZR600. Needs a little love but the engine runs pretty smooth, seems to have good compression (don't have a compression gauge.) It was the green one on craigslist.
Now I just need some good gear...
